Boring Day

such a boring day--watched a boring movie "walled In" spent the boring evening sitting around on the puter--screaming at the boys to calm down! Here's a few pics -- Luke was more awake today than normal.

so i recently discovered photoshop and im addicted! Here are some pics i took of Luke today and then photoshoped them!

We took my van in this morning to get the air conditioner fixed! hooray! I hate the heat-and having the windows open makes my hair look even crazier than normal. Eli is playing Carnival Games on the wii. Luke is fussing in his crib and Caleb is staring out the window at his daddy mowing.

and david and I got to relax for a while. I spent alot of time out in the swing with Luke listening to the rain and watching the ducks

scrounge around the grass for bugs.. I only have a few weeks left before i have to go back to work--im dreading it so much. I know

i want to return to work someday-but i wish i had my own choice about when to go back. David tells me everyday that its up to me if i even go back. I do miss all the girls at work though-.

Ducks are growing fast! Filled their little pool up to the top yesterday and they just loved it! We sit outside and watched them for a long time.

Luke was pretty grumpy the whole day but he went to sleep around 10 pm and slept til 8. only waking up twice-which is really good!

We went to my aunts house for a cookout and we had a really good time. .

so good. TOday is memorial day-david is off work. And we have no

plans. Maybe lay around and watch movies and sit outside on the swing

So far my headache hasnt returned. Still praying that it doesnt come back, because i cant function if it does. Caleb broke my glasses today,,im very angry about it,,ive had them for many many years cuz im too cheap to buy new ones. i only wear then at bedtime,,but i still NEED them. Guess i will have to break down and let David buy me new ones. Maybe we will go to Dr. Bizers Vision world tomorow and get me some.. they have 2 for $99 which isnt too bad. it just seems like alot of money when your not working.

Welcome to the World

Monday night i had terrible contractions so i headed to the hospital around 9. Even though my contractions were 2-4 minutes apart for hours-i wasnt dialating so they sent me home. The next morning i went to my Dr. and he sent me back over to Labor and Delievery to induce me. I recieved the pitocin at 10:15 and Baby Luke came into the world at 2:15. Labor was very quick and easy. I recieved an epidural and had had hardly no pain. But the very second he came out of my body i developed a severe headache. They put me on a caffeinne drip right away. The next day it was worse so they did a blood patch-which i thought was going to kill me-it was so extrmely painful. But as soon as the blood patch was done i felt better. I was finally able to hold Luke and change his diapers, ect. 24 hrs after the blood patch was done my headache returned..but not as bad...so i went ahead home. It kept getting worse so by Saturday i headed to the emergency room. When i got there they told me they were going to repeat the blood patch but do a little bit more thorough job of it. they took xrays while inserting the needle to make sure they got the right spot. Its been about 8 hours and im feeling okay-Praying to God that it doesnt start coming back tomorow. Luke has been amazing.. His first night he slept 4 hours straight and i had to wake him up then to feed him. He is by far the best sleeper and the most content baby i've ever seen. He's definatley worth all the pain i've been throough.

Monday Monday

Had a good weekend..Took a few pics that i think i will post. The one on the left is of me and the boys on sunday..i am almost 39 weeks pregnant..The one on the right is my new duck pen..The ducks were standing around waiting on their feed. They cry like little babies when they are hungry.
Dont plan on doing anything fun today..Maybe watch a movie..Tomorow is a big Doctor appt. Hopefully they will tell me to go in on wednesday to be induced..Getting very anxious to meet Luke

Still Waiting

Well I give up on thinking im every going to meet little Luke. I go to the Dr in 2 days and im trying to not get my hopes up on being induced. I have been told they will induce me at 39 weeks, but im afraid they will change their minds....i guess i dont trust drs...
Today is Kim's graduation party and Mothers day!! Should be a busy day.... Yesterday Joey and Kim went with us to Clarksville and we hit some yard sales and went to chuck E. Cheese, then we went to an indoor flea market. It was fun. When i got home david ran to Jay C and rented me a rug Doctor and i shampood the carpets-they look like new! Happy Mothers day to me!

Waiting on Luke

So i've been feeling like labor is on its way the past 2 days...i got a very sudden headache and rash which im sure is from a hormonal change..some light contractions but nothing thats turning into labor....im not really in any hurry to deliever a baby..probably because i know how difficult it is to care for a newborn. But i am getting eager to meet this little man and fall in love with him..
Caleb just lost a cracker behind the couch and is screaming "uh-oh" so loud people in town probably hear....
Ive heard a rumor that my boss had hired someone new in at almost the same rate i make-and im very angry. Since it isnt confirmed-im trying to not get too upset-but chances are it is true..and i will not be going back. Its really kinda sad for me..i love my job and all the people there..But i feel very disrespected. I'm thankful that work for me can be optional. I just really like getting out of the house for a while and feel like im contributing to the family, and its good for david to bond with his boys while im gone.
I feel very sick today..and i have huge plans of laying around and watching The North and the South. i dont think im half way through it yet but i have been watching it for days!!

My Last Day at Work...for a while

So, last night was my last night for 6 weeks. Im glad to be outa there for now. I hate feeling like i cant do as much as i should be. Everyone pitched in and got me a gift card. I was so shocked-it was very nice of everyone. Nora made me a card that was just beautiful. She's incredibly crafty!

Today we are supposed to go to Spring Mill with the family. Were having a little picnic and while everyone else walks around seeing the sights i plan on sitting back in a chair and reading "breaking dawn" the last book in the twilight series. I've already read it once but i'd like to finish it again before Luke makes his appearance.

Yesterday David, Tim and Tj worked on our water hydrant-we have been without one for a year and it makes watering animals a little difficult. I've got my fingers crossed that it will work for a long time with no leaks! Having ducks we need to be able to fill their kiddie pool up alot.

Blogger

Been too long since i blogged. Over a year. I guess the most important thing that has happened in the past year is that we discovered we are being blessed with another boy! Baby Luke is expected to be here within the next 2 weeks and although im scared i think im close to being ready. I've had an amazingly easy pregnancy, and i have everything ready, so were just waiting on him. I've recently gotten 2 ducklings and they are the cutest things i ever seen.

Eli has just 2 more weeks of preschool. by that time i will have 3 boys for the summer.

Caleb is doing wonderfully. He had such a rough first year but he has grown into a very good little boy. His favorite things to do right now is play hungry hungry hippos and watch the birdies in the yard.

I hope to keep this blog up this time but i assume that could be difficult with a new baby...but im going to try.
